My Working Story

I am a self-motivated and progress-driven networking student who is eager to start a career in IT. With a record of initiative and quality performance, I have striven to bring value to each employer.

Through the Computer Systems Technician program at George Brown College I have honed my technical computer skills. I have gained both hands on experience and theoretical knowledge relevant to supporting desktops and networked systems. Including computer repair, Windows and Linux desktop and server management, and network hardware configuration, I have learned a broad base of skills. This diverse knowledge allows me to further learn and adapt to new systems and environments easily.

I am an astute problem-solver capable of prioritizing and managing complex projects with conflicting priorities, as my simultaneous majors in Arts and Science can attest to. My experience in customer service and education in psychology and management have developed a set of interpersonal skills not all IT students share. That said, in my post-secondary career I’ve completed courses in IT support including Windows desktop and Server management, network management, web development, computer logic, programming, and database management.
